On the evening of October 4th, the Walden Woods Steinway Model D Art Case Concert Grand Piano by Gallery Henoch artist Silas Kopf was auctioned by Christie’s at a star-studded fundraiser. Billy Joel, Don Henley, and classical pianist Barbara Nissman performed on the piano prior to the auction. Kopf’s piano has been played, and had its plate signed by, Elton John, Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby, Barbara Nissman, Herbie Hancock, Dave Brubeck, Evgeny Kissin, and Emanuel Ax.
